About the LGAA

Welcome! We are a non-profit organization established in 1948 dedicated to the enrichment and support of the arts community. We feature monthly meetings with demos by well-known artists, member group shows, monthly peer art exhibits, contests, field trips, workshops, a plein-air group that goes on weekly outings, and a newsletter.

LGAA General Meetings are held monthly on the Second Sunday, 1:00 - 3:00pm at 20 Cherry Blossom Lane at Congregation Shir Hadash in Los Gatos. It's a beautiful facility with ample parking and a wonderful meeting room. The meetings are free and open to the general public.

See MAP for the location and directions.

At each meeting members are invited to bring a recent example of their work, which will be displayed in a Peer Gallery and voted on by members during the mid-meeting coffee break that includes light refreshments.

Near the end of the meeting our Awards Chairman announces the winners and presents the ribbons for three Artists of the Month. At the end of the year an Artist of the Year is chosen from the monthly winners based on a point system.
