Elections for new LGAA Officers are coming up. Please be thinking of people you would like to see leading our group into 2018 with new and fresh ideas to further the mission of LGAA.
Fall Member Juried Show (MJS), November 7 - January 8, will be held again at the Addison-Penzak Jewish Community Center. Current LGAA Members will receive a PDF of the prospectus via email and it will be posted on the lgaa.org website.
Letter from the President It may not feel like it yet, but the year is drawing to a close for the LGAA. We have meetings in September and October, no meeting in November (due to the opening of the JCC Fall Show), and December's Christmas Party. In addition, our Nominating Committee will soon be seeking folks to replace our retiring Board members. Please look inside yourself and ask what YOU can do for our club. Challenge yourself to do something you never thought you would or could. "Lean in" and place yourself in nomination for President, Vice President, Recording Secretary, Treasurer, Program Chair, Membership Chair, Palette Editor, Webmaster, or Publicity Chair. Talk with anyone wearing an orange name tag at the meetings for more information.
