Letter from the President, Jane Loomis

Jane Loomis

Happy 2020! To share a bit about myself... I've lived in Los Gatos for 35 years. Originally from Chicago, I attended Northwestern University and spent much time at the Art Institute of Chicago. I came here to join a start-up tech-nology company that became a success. I was the head of the corporate Technical Publications department, and oversaw the operations here and abroad.

I photograph nature and travel scenes and paint landscapes en plein air. I've been a member of LGAA for eight years. I find that being involved in our club is very rewarding, as it uplifts the cultural quality of our community.

My goals for LGAA this year are to 1) integrate more fully into the community, 2) establish a greater name recognition to attract new members 3) explore new opportunities for showing our art, and 4) get to know each other better. I welcome any suggestions you might have!
