Welcome to the Los Gatos Art Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to the enrichment and support of the arts community. Founded in 1948 by Bill Cunningham and a group of dedicated art supporters, we have over 300 members. Our mission is to promote creative expression in the pictorial and allied arts by fostering high standards, extending appreciation and encouraging cooperation and camaraderie among artists. Our membership is open to all artists and art supporters.
The LGAA sponsors two major annual shows, is a participant in several Bay Area artist exhibitions, has several community galleries, a weekly Plein Air group, and is a close partner with the Art Museum of Los Gatos, (part of the Museums of Los Gatos, CA). Monthly gatherings are held where artists can interact & make connections, followed by an art demonstration.

Figurative Fine Artist
Sandra Jones is a Bay Area Figurative
Fine Artist who works in charcoal,
pastel, oil and acrylic. She has won
numerous awards for her paintings,
and was selected as a 2007 grant
recipient by the Belle Foundation for
Cultural Development. One of her

an emerging artist. Sandra also teaches classes for adults and

Sandra will be demonstrating "New Acrylics" - those paints
recently introduced to the market with characteristics of
extended drying time, so that they act more like oil paint. Sandra
