LGAA has a tradition by which members vote for their peers in a competition held once each year. All competing artists submit a favorite piece of their own recently-created art, then members were invited to vote online for their favorite art piece submitted by the other artists. The voting is held by secret ballot in an online survey. There are three Place Winners and three Honorable Mentions awarded. The three top place winners receive gift certificates from University Art.
