About LGAA

Mission Statement

LGAA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in 1948 and dedicated to the education, enrichment, and support of the fine arts community. We feature monthly meetings with demos by professional artists, competitions, exhibitions, members' online galleries, critiques, an active Plein Air group that meets weekly, educational field trips, peer reviews, and more.

What makes LGAA Special

LGAA members have a wide range of experience and skill level. For example, several are professionals who earn a living as artists. Several are represented by high-end art galleries. Some are teachers and workshop leaders, and some have had their work published in the nations' top art magazines. Other members include beginners just starting out, while many intermediate-level artists continue to learn, practice, and hone their skills while developing their own unique style

Members also have a wide range of interest in their styles, submect matter, and  fine art media such as oils, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, sculpture, photography, etc. Regardless of anyone's background and interest, there is great support and camaraderie as everyone seeks to learn and grow as artists. New members are always welcome from any region in the U.S.
